Make it a daily practice
Choose one passage each day. Read it aloud, summarize its message in your own words, and write down one question it raises. You might also note one idea you want to explore further or discuss with someone you trust.
If you make memory cards or share the passages publicly, identify the translation and check its reuse guidelines. The NIV permissions guidance allows limited quotation under specific conditions, including attribution requirements.
